Description

Welcome to "The Legacy of Loulan." This is the story of the adventures of Shi Huan, the Princess of Loulan, her family, friends and a few enemies. It takes place mostly in the ancient western Chinese kingdoms of Loulan and neighbouring Turfan-both along the legendary Silk Road that linked China with the western world in ancient times. These are real places with a fascinating history. Part of the story takes place in modern-day Toronto, where a young writer is getting to know a modern-day Chinese-Canadian young woman also named Shi Huan-whose family runs a restaurant in Chinatown. This story is the sequel to "The Lost Princess of Loulan"-which introduced readers around the world to Shi Huan and her modern-day counterpart.
