David Bennett teaches English at George Spencer School where he also runs the library. He is a regular reviewer and contributer to Books for Keeps. He lives in Derbyshire. Jacqui Thomas is an experienced illustrator who has worked for many different publishers, including Eagle Publishing, Puffin Books and Oxford University Press.
