Author Biography

The Reverend Harris Spence is an Anglican priest in the Diocese of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. He was ordained deacon in 1978 and later that year was ordained priest. He served in the Diocese as a deacon at St. Luke's church, Cross Roads, Kingston, and Priest in Charge of the Morant Bay Parish Church in St. Thomas. Reverend pence was seconded to the Diocese of Belize, in 1980, where he served as Priest in Charge of St. Mary's church, Belize City and Diocesan Advisor on Buildings, this continued for three and a half years. On his return from Belize (1984), Reverend. Spence was appointed Priest in Charge of the St. George's Church in Grand Cayman and later as Rector (1987). He retired in 1997, but continues to serve in the Diocese. Reverend Spence is the author of four books: "The Woman I married is not my Wife...;"; "21st Century Hymns and Spiritual Songs"; "The Journey to Eternal Salvation"; and "Love under Siege."
