Natalie Brooks was born in Buffalo, New York, in 1981 to Cheryl and Welman Brooks, Jr. Both of her parents are artistic, ambitious, and driven to achieve and be successful making the best out of what they have. Natalie started writing songs then ventured off into poetry. She continued with her artistic abilities and learned to discover that not only can she write and sing but she could also act. She has performed in local theaters within the city of Buffalo and other public venues such as Kleinhans Music Hall. Natalie has overcome many challenges in life and has adapted to incorporating her life lessons into her work, thus far making her one of the most exhilerating and captivating writers of our time. Natalie aNdurea Brooks is an innovative young lady. She has been writing songs since she was ten years old. She won a community service award in 1999 for her poetry and music. She is now currently working on getting a publishing deal and hopes to succeed at becoming an ultimate writer.
