The Olive Trilogy is the story of the love affair between actress Carol Drinkwater and television producer Michel and the olive farm, Appassionata, which they fall in love with, buy and restore with the aim of producing the finest olive oil. In this entirely new book Carol and Michel have documented their life on the olive farm and her stories of Provencal life, the customs and colourful carnivals, the adoption of animals, the highs and lows of harvesting and the constant concern about water are all illustrated here in 250 colour photographs of their life over a year.
Author Biography
As an actress Carol Drinkwater was best known for her role as Helen Herriot in the BBC series All Creatures Great and Small. Michel Noll, her husband, is a documentary film maker based in France.
