Description

In a realm similar to Earth, Alvina spent most of her childhood in Areta delighted by fairytale and rumors of portals to other realms-a joy she shared with her closest companion, Viston. But, when Viston's enjoyment of these tales turns into an obsession, he decides that he will prove that these stories are true. To cure all illnesses and cheat death Viston creates a poison that turns people into immortal, blood-drinking creatures who then begin to hunt the warm beings in the land. After infecting most of the world's population and hunting the remaining warm beings the blood thirsty creatures are facing near-extinction, Viston realizes he's doomed them all. But rather than search for a cure for the madness, he works to find a working portal, one that will allow them to venture to another world and conquer it as a food source. Alvina decides that enough is enough and refuses to allow Viston and his infected army to destroy another world. But when she tries to stop him, she and one of Viston's disciples are sucked into the portal. Now, the sworn enemies must venture through the strange new world called Earth, and face unprecedented challenges that will determine whether they're truly monsters both inside and out.
