A beautiful collectible edition. Paper is of fine quality as is the binding and over all finish. Illustration plates are artfully printed and make a fascinating comparison to the classic Alan Lee illustrations so commonly considered definitive. Well worth it!
This is a beautiful book and I love the story which is why I gave 5 stars, however, the book arrived damaged. It was an expensive book and it wasn’t even protected in bubble wrap which is disappointing. Why couldn’t the book have been protected better when it was mailed? I won’t be purchasing anymore items from mightyape again.
