Great for any die-hard Hobbit or Lord of the rings fan like me! This book is awesome! It gives you a behind the scenes look, cast/character profiles and interviews, with stunning pictures that will take you deeper into the making of movie.

I especially liked the dwarves interviews. They are hilarious! Elves where totally last decade. THE DWARVES ARE WHERE ITS AT NOW. Huuuwwwaahhh!!

However, it is lacking on the art-concept side of it. So if you're the person that likes looking at the how creatures and the design of characters came about, I would recommend the ‘The Hobbit: An unexpected journey chronicles’ which have a much more in-depth look at concept art, designs and costume.

Overall this is a great read and defiantly one for the shelves!

Lavishly illustrated with hundreds of behind-the-scenes photos of the actors, locations, sets, creatures and costumes, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Official Movie Guide has been produced in collaboration with the filmmakers who have brought J.R.R. Tolkien’s classic novel into breathtaking three-dimensional life.

This is a real ‘behind the scenes’ look at the making of the movie. Extraordinary details that give you a genuine insight into the work that the creative team did to put this film together.
