Barbara Brown Taylor is Professor of Religion and Philosophy at Piedmont College, Georgia, and Adjunct Professor of Christian Spirituality at Columbia Theological Seminary, Georgia. An Episcopal priest since 1984, she was recognised as one of the twelve most effective preachers in the English language in a poll carried out by Baylor University in 1995.
