Each square has a coloured photo. It tells you the skill level, then instructions for each row or round. There is also a diagram for those who are more visual (like me). Most seem to be intermediate level, but there are quite a few easy/beginner ones. Only a handful that say experienced, but if you can manage those, they look amazing. The back of the book has ideas of what to do with your squares. Instructions are given for different stitches and how to get started, sew together, and how to read the patterns and charts. Overall I'm really glad I bought this book, it's brilliant. Im excited to start using it. This one I would say is worth the money.
