Description

When five high school classmates decide to form a band, they have no idea how the experience will shape their lives. The teenage antics of the group serve as an entertaining backdrop to the complex web of relationships that develop amongst the band as they experience the trials and tribulations that all bands face when coming together with a common goal of making it big. The story unfolds in rural southern New Jersey in the 1980's, and provides a snapshot of life during that era, while conveying a timeless tale of adolescent bonding.

Author Biography:

An upright piano in his parent's home introduced Chris Scott to a lifelong passion for music. He played in many bands, with countless bandmates, but was smart enough to never quit his day-job. Although the characters and events portrayed in The Golden Stallions are fictitious, a disconcerting number of the accounts blossom from a kernel of truth.
