Author Biography:

Roberta Hoffer is a retired preschool teacher from a small town in Indiana. She and her husband have two grown children and one grandson. Roberta loves animals and helps promote animal rights. When not writing, Roberta enjoys boating, camping, walking, traveling, snow, and all family activities. "Children's literature is where the joy of writing shows openly on the faces of a young child." Roberta was awarded The 2014 Purple Dragonfly Award for first place in children's literacy for chapter books for ages eight through twelve for THE GHOST OF STONEBRIDGE LANE, Book I of The Stonebridge Ghost Tales juvenile fiction series. Other publications include THE GHOST OF THE FROZEN NORTH (Book II), THE GHOSTS OF STONY MANOR (Book III), and the children's picture book NAKITA'S BIG QUESTION.
