Author Biography:

Husband and wife team Brian Hare and Vanessa Woods are the cofounders of the new dog intelligence testing and training website, dognition.co.uk. Hare is Assistant Professor of evolutionary anthropology at Duke University. His research on dognition has been published in the leading journals. Woods writes for BBC Wildlife and New Scientist and is author of the acclaimed memoir Bonobo Handshake. They have spent many hours testing their theories on their dog, Tassie.
