Description

Thanksgiving is a very important holiday in America. On this day, people watch parades, decorate their houses, and have a big, family dinner. Thanksgiving began when a group of people called the Pilgrim Fathers sailed from England to America to start a new life. It was not easy at first, but our tale describes how they finally settled in a new land. Thanksgiving is a very important annual national holiday in America which falls on the fourth Thursday of November. People come together to watch parades, decorate their homes, and have a big, family dinner. It is about being thankful, or grateful, for the things we have like food and warmth, and each other. Enjoy reading The First Thanksgiving. You can stop to count the number of plants or objects on each page.
