Author Biography:

Norman Saffra, MD, FACS, is one of the nation's leading ophthalmic laser and microsurgeons. Dr. Saffra is known for his expertise in disease of the Retina and Vitreous in particular, diabetic eye disease and macular degeneration. He frequently lectures in medical schools and to physicians throughout the country, and has published numerous papers in leading scientific journals. Dr. Alan Kadish is a prominent cardiologist and president and CEO of Touro College and University System.
