Author Biography:

Karen is a journalist and writer from regional Victoria. She wrote for newspapers in Australia and Northern Ireland, and freelanced for lifestyle and industry magazines. Karen's first adult fiction manuscript was longlisted for an Australian Vogel Award. Guy Price is a Gippsland artist and illustrator. He works in a variety of mediums from markers, ink and watercolour to digital. His work is heavily influenced by cartoons, pop culture and graffiti. The Extraordinary, Unordinary Gum Tree is Guy's first children's title.
