"Definitely Looking Forward to it"

Big fan of Skyrim, here – as well as the entirety of the Elder Scrolls series. I am really looking forward to this releasing. I played the original like there was no tomorrow. If Bethesda planned only to release an HD remake of Skyrim for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with no additionally new features, I would probably still buy it, if I'm completely honest. The fact that I've not played Skyrim in what feels like decades has created a an extreme eagerness to return to it again. So, yes, the fact that I haven't played the original in quite sometime is one major reason why I'll be buying Skyrim: Special Edition. Aside from the thought of finally being able to play one of my favourite games ever on the Xbox One, what makes the deal so much sweeter is even just the notion of updated graphics and mod support. That practically guarantees that any spark of social life I ever had will burn out once this game drops. This package, on the whole, will create about as fresh of an experience as conceivably possible, all from a game that I've already soaked a number of hours into.

"I brought an Xbox one s for this!"
5 stars"

I loved Skyrim on 360 but when the next gen consoles came out I made the switch to ps4 but now with a Skyrim HD re-release and with better compatibility on Xbox one for mods etc I bought the Xbox one just for this game… Microsoft: 1 Wallet: 0

"Be careful of mods"

So this version is free to owners of the PC version but not to the 360 owners, hmm… while it's great to have Skyrim on XB1 with some enhanced lighting and the ability to add mods I recommend caution. Unlike the PC modding community which has built some very good tools for loading, sorting and cleaning mods Bethesda have a ‘have a go and hope it works’ attitude for the console version. Adding and removing mods will mess up your game save if not done correctly. There's plenty of how to guides available on line to limit the damage, so save some heartache and get educated first. If you don't have a PC that can play Skyrim and haven't tried out the game before then I highly recommend this as the best hiking simulator available.
