Author Biography:

Hu Angang is a Professor in the School of Public Policy & Management at Tsinghua University, Director of the Center for China Study at Tsinghua-CAS (Chinese Academy of Sciences), a Visiting Professor at Harvard University and Japan's Keio University, and was a Guest Professor at Tongji University. He is the author of China in 2020: A New Kind of Superpower (2010), Mao Zedong and the Cultural Revolution (2008), Economic and Social Transformation in China (2006).
