The Spark, a moon-sized space station and home to the last of humanity, was a terrifying place for someone as naïve and uncultured as she. With nowhere else to turn, she settled for the drug-dealing black sheep of the family, her cousin Mitch, who immediately whisked her off in his hover-car to make a delivery to a hippie. The night grew stranger from there with the introduction of wine, cannabis and magic mushrooms. A memorable first and final night of life on the town for Bella Erdmann. This short story serves as a prologue or direct lead-in to the novel, MYTHIC: SHADOW OF THE SPARK

Author Biography:

Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Adrian Rene Santiago Jr is an almost 40 year old chubs from Gainesville, Florida, with roots in Kissimmee/Orlando, and Buffalo, NY. He's always been a storyteller, though in his youth that only got him into trouble. But after marriage, the birth of his sons, and a couple mushroom trips, he decided to use his powers for good. After the most fateful of the mushroom trips, he wrote this short story, and from it developed a world, cast of characters, and a bonkers story which would ultimately become his debut full-length novel, MYTHIC: SHADOW OF THE SPARK.
