Description

"The Day My Vagina Tried to Kill Me" was written to expose a serious but often unspoken disease that affects women of all ages and ethnicities. Cervical Cancer is a deadly disease that attacks women below the belt, and for many, it is uncomfortable to share with others the emotional pain associated with this disease. However, Navita Gunter boldly shares her raw emotion as she learns at the age of twenty-seven that she has Cervical Cancer. To her surprise, she discovers that Cervical Cancer is a deadly disease that can be transmitted by sexual intimacy. The author shares her struggle as well as inform both women and men about the virus that can cause Cervical Cancer. As you read this book, it will give you a realistic knowledge of Cervical Cancer and provide emotional support for those who are suffering from the illness. Navita Gunter is a survivor of Cervical Cancer, and she wants other women to know that they too can survive Cervical Cancer.
