Author Biography
Donald Sassoon was born in Cairo and educated in Paris, Milan, London and the United States. He is currently Professor of Comparative European History at Queen Mary, University of London. His books include 'Contemporary Italy: Politics, Economy and Society Since 1945', 'One Hundred Years of Socialism' and 'Mona Lisa The History of the World's Most Famous Painting'.
