Description

Lavinia Derwent's fabulous stories of Magnus Macduff and his life on Sula in the Hebrides make the Scottish islands come alive for both children and adults alike. This is the third of four books about life on the tiny west coast island of Sula and the adventures of Magnus Macduff. When he is on the mainland, Magnus misses the island and its colourful characters like Mr Skinnymalink the Hermit and Old Whiskers the seal. However, on his return to the island, he discovers that his beloved Sula is in danger of being turned into a tourist trap.
