Description

Instantly acquire all the knowledge you need to pass as an expert in the world of football. Never again be found wanting when asked what Albert Camus said about the 'beautiful' game, why a surprising number of other famous writers and thinkers opted to play 'between the sticks', why a rotation system is not to be confused with a revolving door management policy, and why an impressive collection of trophies is no way to describe the perma-tanned WAGs in the directors' box.

Author Biography

Mark Mason's own skills on the football field can be charitably described as 'non-existent'. In football, as in so many areas of life, those who can't do, teach; those who can't teach, become England Manager. But for those whose capabilities fall below even this basic level, there is nothing left except to write about the game. Accordingly Mason has penned football articles for a variety of newspapers and magazines, as well as produced documentaries on the subject for the BBC.
