Description

Instantly acquire all the knowledge you need to become an expert in the arcane and labyrinthine game of cricket. Never again confuse a square leg with a very fine leg, a doosra with a jaffa, or a long hop with a leg break. Bask in the admiration of your fellow cricket lovers as you pronounce confidently on the finer points of play, the limitations of the players, and why the umpire needs to see an optician. But, above all, effortlessly hold your own against those who emerged from the womb consulting a copy of Wisden.

Author Biography

As well as working in television as a reporter and producer, James Trollope is a newspaper columnist and feature writer. He frequently covers topics that include France, family, education, property, and of course, cricket. Nick Yapp spent his first night in France in a hay barn near Calais docks in 1961. Since then he has loved the French for their music, wine, space, and those purple onions you cant get in England. He used to be a teacher, but escaped to become a writer and broadcaster.
