Author Biography

Lilian Pizzichini has worked for the Literary Review and the Times Literary Supplement. Her first book, Dead Men's Wages, won the 2002 Crime Writers' Association Gold Dagger for Non-fiction. Until recently she was writer-in-residence at a Category B prison. She lives on a narrowboat on the Grand Union Canal.
