Taking in the Trad Jazz roots, through to Skiffle and Folk Blues, before landing on theharder edge Chicago Blues and R & B, this compilation is the complete audio document of the evolution of British music leading up to its golden age in the 1960s and 1970s. All of the pioneers are included including Chris Barber, Ken Collyer, Lonnie Donegan, Cyril Davies, Alexis Korner and many more.
