Description

Sophie's life is perfect. Three years after moving to Cephalonia with her baby daughter, she's in love with a handsome man and her creative business is thriving. But returning to the UK for her mum's hen party introduces unwanted feelings, memories and people. When Sophie hosts the wedding in Cephalonia, her villa is filled with family and friends. Yet Sophie's contentment is short-lived, as her life is turned upside down again by a glamorous singer, and some shocking news. When the past threatens to destroy happiness, will love be enough? ... The Birdsong Promise is the long-awaited sequel to the bestselling novel, The Butterfly Storm. Set on the Greek island of Cephalonia and on the wild and beautiful north Norfolk coast, it's a story about family, friends, relationships, motherhood and love.

Author Biography:

Kate Frost has wanted to be an author ever since she wrote her first novel during the long months she spent off school following open heart surgery when she was seven. The novel was called London's Burning and was a time travel story set during the Great Fire of London. Over the years Kate has worked in a cinema, a bookshop, a factory and at NHS Direct. She's also worked as ground staff at Edgebaston Tennis Tournament and as a Supporting Artist in the films Vanity Fair, King Arthur and The Duchess. Kate has a MA in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University and has also taught lifewriting to Creative Writing undergraduates there. Kate lives in the UK with her husband, young son and their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and spends her days creating stories and not keeping on top of the housework.
