The Berenstain Bears celebrated their 50th Anniversary last year. Sparked by their young sons' love of reading, STAN AND JAN BERENSTAIN published the first story starring the bear family, The Big Honey Hunt, in 1962. Since then, more than 360 Berenstain Bears books have been published. With over 300 million copies sold, it is one of the best-selling children's books series of all time. Though Stan died in 2005 and Jan in 2012, Mike Berenstain continues to create the delightful Berenstain Bear adventures from his studio in Pennsylvania.
