Description

The Bailey Triplets and the Nightmare Fix is the third book in the Bailey Triplet series. In this story, it is Christmastime and there is a terrible thunderstorm outside which scares Bobby and his dog who escape to his spaceship tent, while his identical triplet sisters enjoy the storm, hoping it brings snow. Bobby has the worst nightmare ever in his tent, screaming all the way to his parent's room. Afraid of more nightmares, he thinks of an elaborate Christmas idea to keep his nightmares away, while his sisters build a big snowman to look like their grandfather in heaven. When Bobby's plan fails and he has another terrifying nightmare, his wise grandmother tells him a secret solution that works. The story ends, like every story in the series, with a catchy, easy to remember moral jingle.Pamela Bell wrote the series, inspired by her own triplet grandchildren. At nap time she would make up stories as a way to calm and entertain three rambunctious triplets and get them to fall asleep. It worked so well, that once they were too old for naps, they continued begging to still climb into their cozy sleeping bags and listen to their Grammy"s stories. Several years later she wrote their favorite story of the hundreds she told them in rhyme, "The Lazy Lesson", which began the idea of an entire series filled with humor, sentiment and important lessons concerning parenting issues and always ending with a catchy moral jingle.

Author Biography:

Pamela Bell lives in Las Vegas, Nevada and is the grandmother of five. All of her life she had a passion for poetry and storytelling, so when her first grandchildren, the triplets, were born she began making up stories at nap time as a way to calm and entertain three rambunctious triplets and get them to fall asleep. It worked so well, that once they were too old for naps, they continued begging to still climb into their cozy sleeping bags and listen to their Grammy's stories. The Lazy Lesson, by far, was their favorite story of the hundreds their grandmother made up, so several years later at the urging of her daughter, she wrote the story. It inspired the idea of an entire series about triplet adventures that would entertain, yet teach important lessons with sentiment, humor and rhyme, so that children and their parents would enjoy reading them and look forward to every lesson.
