Author Biography:

Ron Sobel has recently written two other children's books: The Adventures of Jake and the Giant Water Tower and The Adventures of Jake and the Talking Christmas Tree. At age 80, he says that writing children's books has become easier with age since he clearly remembers the adventures he had growing up. Ron claims that writing is about 40 percent inspiration and 60 percent angst. "But it's still a joyful pleasure, " he says, "as long as the ideas keep coming." Ron lives in Virginia and in his spare time he enjoys playing Texas Hold'em poker and duckpin bowling.
