Description

Zack Monday seems like your typical little boy. He loves fishing, and rough-housing, and playing in snowstorms. He tries to avoid school every Monday. He loves teasing his brothers and drinking chocolate milk. But Zack is a special kind of kid-one that manages to get into a little bit of a pickle, and each time, manages to get out! Readers will love tagging along with Zack on his wacky adventures, as he conquers the golf course and the baseball field, learns about sportsmanship and escaping Bigfoot, has great laughs with his family, and takes more than a few unexpected swims!

Author Biography:

Brian Ward is a husband and a father of three boys, each in their teenage years and in high school. He and Toni picked up on Zack's anxiety early on, but it was hard to predict when it would come out, as Zack was an extremely busy and enthusiastic kid, who from the start wanted anything and everything out of life! As the anxiety began to hinder some of his enthusiasm, his parents recognized it and helped him recognize the core of why it existed and where it came from, as Brian too battled many years of anxiety as a child. The Ward family hopes that The Adventures of Zack Monday will help other children that suffer from anxiety to look back at some of the situations they have experienced with humor, a productive tool for parents and children as they come to understand how to live with anxiety on a daily basis.
