The 23rd Preacher: Preaching Like a Shepherd invites pastors to engage Psalm 23 as a guide for preaching like a shepherd. McCallum mines each line of the psalm to describe one facet of pastoral preaching. While there is some how-to counsel in the book, it is essentially a philosophy of preaching for pastors who want to serve their congregation with sermons that shepherd a congregation like Christ shepherds his people.
