Sam is sick of that yucky love thing - everywhere he looks people are hugging and kissing - it's just disgusting! There's only one thing for it. Sam hops on his bicycle to get away - as far away as he can. But even in the depths of the jungle and on the floor of the ocean there's no escape! So how will he feel when he slips over and finds a little girl who wants to reach out her hand to him?
Michael Catchpool did a degree in Drama, TV and Theatre studies and then trained as a teacher. After teaching in several schools, anc a spell as Headteacher, he is now the Primary Adviser for English and Drama for Hertfordshire LEA. He is married with two children. Victoria Ball graduated from Falmouth College of Arts, Cornwall, with a first class BA Hons in Illustration. She soon went on to accept her first commission for The Children's Company, through which she was fortunate enough to illustrate the BAFTA-award-winning children's series 'Ripley and Scuff' for Children's TV. Victoria has since produced illustrations for numerous children's books. This will be her first book for Gullane.
