This prequel to the Taken series of movies should be seen on its own merits but, taking on the prequel role, it's a bit of a disappointment if you had seen the Taken trilogy. I was looking for something to tie to the Liam Neeson movies but feel that I failed. That said, the show does have a great deal of promise and I hope some of the trilogy characters begin to appear in the second season.
