Author Biography

Vivian French is a professional storyteller as well as an acclaimed children's author. She has written dozens of titles - from fiction, to non-fiction and poetry - including To Mum With Love and Singing to the Sun. She lives in Edinburgh. Alison Bartlett's first book, Oliver's Vegetables, was commended for the 1996 V&A National Art Library Illustration Awards. Since then she has illustrated numerous chidlren's books, many with Vivian French, including Growing Frogs and The Tiger and the Jackal. She lives in Bath.
