Description

Terry Woods has no direction in life. Not only is he a college dropout at twenty-two, but he's also living at home and constantly between jobs. Stuck working at the Quality Sausage Company is definitely not how he envisions his future. Despite his mother's suggestions, Terry is unable to find his niche and starts to become frustrated. Then the unthinkable happens. One night, Terry is robbed at gunpoint by two men and shot in the chest. Although he recovers, his life is forever changed. Terry finally has a purpose: he wants to become a police officer and save others from ever having to endure the same horror. The police academy is tough, but despite his rocky start, Terry graduates and finds himself working the inner-city beat of his hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Being African American and a cop isn't easy, but Terry is determined to fix the system that some in his family think is broken. With hard work and newfound respect for his fellow officers, Terry is willing to put his own life on the line to make a difference in his community and fight for those who have felt disenfranchised. On his watch, justice will be served.
