With the ability to control her dreams, and visit the same places (and characters!) time after time, she builds a relationship with a mysterious boy. Life in Sandswell is idyllic, but when a rival sweet shop opens in the adjacent village, Phoebe and her mother only have each other, and find themselves struggling to make ends meet. The pair even start to worry that they may have to shut up shop.
