Author Biography:

Earl W. Hampton, Jr., a lifelong streetcar enthusiast, serves as a member of the New Orleans Street Railway Association and is a past editor of Open Track, a publication of the New Orleans Street Railway Museum. He wrote The Streetcars of New Orleans: 1964-Present, a pictorial history featuring the author's photographs, available from Pelican. Hampton lives in New Orleans, Louisiana. Louis Costa, Andre Neff, and Peter Raarup created the original version of this essential guide serving as a community resource for more than two decades.
