Author Biography

ANITA GANERI studied modern languages and Indian Studies at Cambridge. She worked in children's publishing for several years before becoming a full-time writer. She has written many books for children which explore her deep interest in India and the religions of southern Asia. JACKIE MORRIS is an acclaimed and highly respected artist who has illustrated many picture books for children, including HOW THE WHALE BECAME by Ted Hughes.
