The Stink Moody series of books are an interesting read for 7–8 year olds. We got this for my boy as he was still finding the Wimpy Kid series a bit daunting.
The book has large text and plenty of pictures. This makes the book an easy read. We picked this book as the first one to read in the series because my boy likes the solar system. He liked the book so much, we have ordered almost all of the remaining Stink Moody series.
My recommendation, start with a book which is on a topic which your child loves, Solar System,Zombies etc. this was they will fall in love with the character and would want to read more.
One thing which Mighty Ape can do better is to provide a complimentary Mighty Ape bookmark with ordered books. This is being followed by other book retailers overseas and provides the reader with a bookmark and also is free advertising that the book was purchased from Mighty Ape :)
