A motion picture for athletes, teens, and more. Looks at divorce, acting out, and how that parent child bond is paramount. Some great laughs and serious moments and amazing gymnastics!

This Movie I first saw on the Big Screen, and I really enjoyed it, not long after that I bought the Dvd, its a great Story with some Revealing truths about the world of Gymnastics, My Daughter does Competitive Gymnastics so you could say I am a true fan of the Sport, only a Very few people get too see the long Hours the commitment and dedication involved, this movie brings out that fact it has a good element of wit and a great moral to the Story with a little bit of incentive and a great deal of hard work brings in a rewarding result, a true gem for the collection and a inspiring story for any little girl who has aspirations to be a Gymnast.

t's not called gym-nice-tics

Haley Graham (Missy Peregrym) is a former gymnast-turned-juvenile delinquent whom, after one too many run-ins with the law, is forced to enroll at an elite gymnastics academy, the VGA in Houston, Texas which is run by the legendary Olympic gymnast Burt Vickerman (Jeff Bridges). But the rebellious Haley is not welcomed into the academy by the other teenage gymnasts whom despise her for walking out on her Junior Olympic team years earlier during a competition which cost them the gold medal. But Haley is not a docile person either and makes every effort to provoke conflicts with the other girls. Vickerman takes it upon himself to coach Haley in his own way to make her regain her self respect for the VGA's coming spot on the Gymnastic Nationals.
