Author Biography:

Lawrence Leemis, PhD, is a professor in the Department of Mathematics at The College of William & Mary.He has written nine books, won 12 teaching awards, and published over 100 journal articles, book chapters, and proceedings papers. He has consulted for severaldozen government, corporate, and non-profit entities.
