Author Biography:

Dr Wil Hoverd is a senior lecturer at Massey University and Director of the university’s Centre for Defence and Security Studies. He was a contributor to and editor of New Zealand National Security: Challenges, trends and issues published by Massey University Press in 2017. Deidre McDonald works at the Centre for Defence and Security Studies, Massey University. Her areas of research include biosecurity, food safety and law.
