This was the missing link from the original 1st Star Wars movie (now Episode 4) and the subsequent back-track to Episodes 1 & 2 to explain how the story arrived at that point. It had all the blood & thunder we have come to expect and quite convincingly portrayed the pressure on Annikin (the hero/anti hero) to turn to the dark side of the Force. All our family enjoyed this movie and were happy to find a continuity in the story.
