Author Biography:

Retired pediatric surgeon Iván Figueroa-Otero was trained in traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture with professors from the University of Seville and became certified in medical acupuncture nationwide. Dr. Figueroa-Otero is the author of the School of Life trilogy, with the books Spirituality 101: For the Dropouts of the School of Life, Spirituality 1.2: For the Disconnected from the School of Life, Spirituality 103: The Forgiveness Code, and Spirituality 104: Reflections in My Magical Mirror. His books have received numerous awards, such as the Benjamin Franklin Award, NIEA Award, Readers' Favorite, Beverly Hills Award, and USA Best Book Awards, among others.
