Description

1846. Tulk was a founder and initial committee member of the Swedenborg Society, established in 1810 for the purpose of printing and publishing the works of Emanuel Swedenborg, the noted Swedish scientist, philosopher and theologian, who is best known for his later writings in which he presents ideas both Christian and ecumenical, for a new spiritual era or new church to be known as the New Jerusalem. A few days before his death he had been writing the closing sentences of his book Spiritual Christianity. See other titles by this author available from Kessinger Publishing.
