Author Biography:

Daniel Norton is an author, recipe writer and culinary consultant who creates and collaborates on cookbooks and magazine stories. He also works closely with private chefs, nutritionists, and food companies to tell their stories through narratives and recipes. Daniel was born on July 3, 1966, in Santa Monica, California but in the age of 12 years he moved to Los Angeles. His early travels with his food-loving family sparked his lifelong pursuit of great restaurants all over the world. After graduating from Yale University with honors, he broke into the food business. Shortly thereafter, he began writing food stories for newspapers and magazines. His first culinary book was based on his travels and dishes he has learnt during each trip. The next series of books consisted of his favorite homemade dishes that they used to cook in his family. Besides he has contributed to many cookbooks as a writer, editor, recipe developer and worked with many major publishing houses. The main goal of his books is to inspire and educate people to eat healthy and tasty dishes they can cook themselves.
