Each poem is followed by a reflective verse from the Holy Bible which ties Lisa's words to the scribes of ancient days. She seeks to show the timeless nature of love and of loss in the circle of the days and nights and seasons. She seeks to show her faith in the Creator of all things and the giver and sustainer of life by releasing her soul through a river of words that are meant to be shared.
