Author Biography:

Cathie Lowmiller is a violinist and teacher with 5 decades of experience in both classroom and private studio. She is a professional performer of classical, contemporary, and folk music. Tina Dhekial-Phukan is a physicist and violinist who hails from the northeastern state of Assam in India. Growing up in India, she learned Hindustani Classical music from the Bhatkhande Gharana, and her love of Western Classical music from Vivaldi's Four Seasons.
