Description

The sonata has had numerous changes over the years and some movements have been completely rewritten for this version. It will challenge the performer and impress the audience. Suites are usually a variety of dance forms in a single key. Here I have used different forms, though few of them are dances. Each key is different, but they form a progression from one to five flats.I have omitted dynamics and accentuation for these works to allow the performer to interpret them according to his own wishes.

Author Biography:

Christopher Huggett studied Theology at the University of Hull. Having trained as a teacher, he taught Religious Education, History and Latin in both state and private schools, before attending Lincoln Theological College, where he trained for the Anglican priesthood. After almost thirty years with the Church of England, working in a variety of city, town and village parishes across the north of England and specialising in lay training and tourist ministry, he retired in 2010 and now lives in East Yorkshire with his wife, Alexandra. His hobbies are writing theology, fiction and classical music. Christopher has been composing for nearly forty years, but his music is constantly developing as he explores new ideas and techniques. Inspired by such traditional composers as Mozart, Chopin and Bach, his music nevertheless has a modern flavour and his style is distinctive and unique. Often exuberant, sometimes peaceful, his works are full of movement and overflowing with memorable melodies offering a challenging and exciting experience both for performers and audience.
